Beyond the ordinary

We conducted our Online Creative Writing Workshop for Kids on the 30^th of April 2026, and it was an exhilarating journey!

The Creativity, Energy and Enthusiasm of the Learners

Learners from Grades 4 -7 from all over Zimbabwe, joined our virtual creative writing classroom. The creativity, enthusiasm and energy of the young learner was encouraging!

More Than Just a Class: A Dynamic Discussion

Participatory pedagogical learning approaches were applied. The workshop was highly interactive between the facilitator, Dr. Eve Nyemba and the participants. The workshop was highly interactive, fostering dynamic discussions between the facilitator and the children about the meaning and various forms of creative writing. The kids were given practical exercises to apply and sharpen their newly acquired writing skills.

Enrolling children in these creative writing courses does more than just improve their grades; it equips them with life-long writing skills which include:

• Enhancing their Problem-Solving Skills:

• Equips then with Expertise in Diverse Writing Formats:

• Boosting their self-confidence

The workshop concluded with the learners setting goals to be the best writers in their classes, improve their vocabulary and start a reading culture.
